So I've been quite busy at the Ohio Historical Society and I wanted a quick project to make something cute without a huge investment of time.
So when I saw this blog, that recycles return envelopes you get in junk mail. I decided I wanted to give them a try!
What you need for this project:
- Scissors
- Glue
- Decorated Paper
- Return Envelopes
- Scrap paper
First, you take a piece of scrap paper and fold in half to create the heart template.
(Or you can find one to print online)

Trace the heart onto the patterned scrapbook paper and cut out heart.

Lay the heart onto the corner of the envelope, trace and cut.
Glue the heart onto the envelope corner and find a good book!
And enjoy this lovely, easy project!
Additionally, you can make any kind of shape that has a ninety-degree angle as well doesnt have to be a heart. Check out alternatives here.
